Tell us a little more about when you first got into music?

I started music in church as little boy at my parents church MCF.

I sung choir in Junior High and High School attended art school at Fullerton High School and then Cal State Fullerton.

Then I started a group called APSO with my older brother.

We did alternative and gospel music and had great success with that.

Eventually, we had a group called ‘Authentic People’ and opened up for celebrities and performed at churches.

What would you say your creative process looks like when it comes to making songs?

I find the song and the right hook and melody.

Then, I just let the wave of the song tell me where it needs to go.

The music will always let you know.

What would you say to any aspiring artists/entrepreneurs who look up to your work?

I would say pray before every move.

Know that this game is a marathon, not a sprint.

Get the right team around and keep your head down.

Don’t chase the clout, chase the process.

Fail forward, fail often.

Keep going forward and eventually things will lock into place.

Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?

Yes, just dropped a song and a visual called call ‘My Name’ with M Coast.

I also got a drop coming with TyMatts, called ‘Float.’

I am really excited about the album called ‘Coast Boys’ with my crew the Orange Collective.
