Artist Jaime Quintino Launches a Career in Music After Posting Covers on YouTube

Tell us a little more about how you got into music?

I have always been into music since a young age.

It wasn’t until I was in high school that I started thinking about doing music as a career, which my choir director played a big part in me wanted to really make something out if it; but it wasn’t until after high school that I started posting cover videos on YouTube and soon after started making moves to get me where I am today.

Your music is such a vibe! What is your creative process when it comes to making songs?

Honestly my “process” on how I make music is kinda weird because an idea will come to mind and then I just start thinking of chords and rhythms that would fit the concept and then it just blows up from there.

I get my laptop and open Logic and start playing piano chords which can then be turned into different instruments or beats then I contact my producer and we go off from there!

What would you say to aspiring artists who look up to your work?

I would say that if you’re hesitant to start off your music career or don’t know where to start just do your research and just GO FOR IT.

I’ve had so many moments where I have regretted no doing this sooner because I was too “scared” of what people would think but people are going to talk about you regardless, good or bad, so just do what you love and at the end of the day your opinion is the only one that matter!

Do you have anything new or upcoming we can expect to see from you?

I do in fact!

I have a new song coming out at the end of this month which will be the first single from my first EP I’m going to be dropping and I have some more projects in the works so stay tuned for that!
