Tell us a little more about how you got into music!

Music has always played a really big part in my life.

I remember at age 15 locking my self in my basement and escaping the world for days after being so infatuated with writing music.

It got to a certain point where I just felt lost on where to go from there.

I was told by many people and friends that I need to be signed to a label in order to make it.

I guess after hearing that day after day, my whole perspective changed.

I slowly started fading away from writing and being an artist all together.

It…

P Double, tell us a little more about how you first got into music!

My introduction to music was a lot different than most.

I got my start in the commercial dance world at a young age and was immediately surrounded by music day in and day out.

I was afforded the opportunity to travel and showcase my talents on different platforms across the nation and the stage quickly became a place of comfort and serenity for me.

It was an escape, and an expression of self I had yet to find anywhere else.

Channeling the words and the energy of the music through the art of movement was something that came easy to…

Chris, tell us a little more about how you first got into music.

When I was eleven years old, I heard Lil Boosie’s single, “Zoom” in 2006 and from that moment on I started writing lyrics trying to match his.

Lil Boosie didn’t inspire me.

The art of music itself allows me to be myself and have a voice.

I wasn’t dreaming of success when making songs.

I was just having fun and working hard so that people would listen.

What does your creative process look like when it comes to writing songs?

I’ll have my headphones on blasting the instrumentals just letting my thoughts roam.

Figuring out new rhyme schemes that compliment each other, and flows that would create an attractive delivery.

Jason, tell us a little more about how you first got into music.

At the age of seventeen, I started dancing and it was then when I first fell in love with music.

I was part of an entertainment dance crew where I performed and competed in front of young audiences who shared a love for dancehall music as well.

Seeing how much people enjoy music and how it makes them feel, I thought how gratifying it would be for them to dance and be entertained by my own music, so I became inspired to write my own songs.

Pretty much how I do it is, I will listen to a beat I…

I have always had a love for HipHop.
